~Dale Turner.
English: Allograpta obliqua. I’ve always loved the beauty of the hoverfly, and I’m very happy about getting this shot. I just happened to be in the right place at the right time. I was considering the daises for photo possibilities, when I noticed this guy hovering. Two shots was all I got (no time for lens or setting adjustments) – the other one was junk. Français : Le Syrphide Allograpta obliqua. Les Syrphide sont communéments appelés hélicoptères. (personal favorite – for COTC) (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
