    I also think pride is based on a misconception – or better, a huge number of them. For instance, we wouldn’t even be alive except for the hard work of 4.75 billion years of evolution. Every human life today that would be tempted to feel pride is leveraging off the combined efforts of billions of people alive today and many past generations.
